Volunteer with the Center for Nursing Advocacy

We are an all-volunteer organization and we need help with a number of tasks:

Become a Representative (click here for more information)

We need a webmaster

Translate our web site--or selected pages--into another language

Make contact with the media to discuss press releases and get our stories covered

Help us at the office by sending hardcopy letters to members of the media

Bookkeeping (about 2-3 hours per week)

Identify media coverage of nursing and writing short news items about the coverage

Make contact with nursing organizations, nursing schools, nursing journals and hospitals to help spread the word about and gain support for the Center's work

Hand out flyers and network with your local nursing community to encourage letter-writing, other action and Center membership

Write a grant proposal to help increase our level of funding so we can hire staff and expand our work

Proofread our web site
